About the artist
Jay Euphoria is a Los Angeles-based mixed-media crystal artist known for creating immersive works that merge fine art, natural minerals, and contemporary design. Working with imported crystals, resin, pigments, acrylics, and oils, Jay transforms traditional surfaces into dimensional pieces that explore energy, transformation, spirituality, and human connection.
His creative process often begins with developing concepts before evolving the work into richly textured compositions incorporating raw crystals, mineral powders, reflective elements, and sculptural details. Each work is designed not only to be viewed, but experienced—allowing light, texture, color, and natural materials to shift the presence of the piece within a space.
Since establishing his practice, Jay has developed an extensive body of original artwork and commissioned pieces while exhibiting throughout California.
His past and present exhibition history includes the San Diego Contemporary Art Show (2023), Los Angeles Art Association’s Simulacrum (2026), Beyond the Visible (2026) in Glendale, Present & Future (2026) at Magnolia Art Space, DTLA Art Night (2026), and his solo exhibition Eternal (2026) at Magnolia Art Space. In 2026, Jay was also selected to exhibit at the Chocolate and Art Show — Los Angeles and the 8th Annual Culver City Arts Festival (2026).
His work has also been featured in publications including Art Talk Magazine (2023) and Fruit Slice Magazine (2026), and he was recognized by the Boynes Artist Award for Most Unique Design (2022).
Through developing Euphoria Gallery, Jay continues to expand the boundaries of mixed-media art, blending the organic beauty of the earth with imaginative, modern visual storytelling. His goal is to create work that feels transformative—art that commands attention, creates atmosphere, and gives each viewer something new to discover.

My artistic journey began with drawing, where I learned to translate ideas and emotion onto a flat surface. Over time, my work evolved beyond the page into something more tangible—incorporating crystals, texture, resin, and dimensional materials that can be seen, touched, and experienced. What started as drawing has grown into a practice focused on creating immersive, physical works of art.
Crystals Meet Canvas
I have always been drawn to deconstruction and reconstruction, taking something apart, understanding its raw elements, and rebuilding it into something entirely new. I started in traditional drawing, learning how to convey emotion through imagery and composition but over time I wanted to make something more tangible, something viewers could feel as well as see. In 2020, the world slowed down in a way none of us expected. It was a period of real hardship and uncertainty for so many people, and it forced me to confront the direction of my own life. I had settled into the routine of a traditional job, and somewhere in that routine, so many of my ideas never made it past the sketchbook. That pause made me ask whether I wanted to just continue on that path or use that moment to build something different. I chose to return to art, but not in the same way. I wanted to reinvent my practice into something that felt more physical, more expressive, and more honest to the ideas I’d been carrying around. That’s when I began experimenting with crystals. I became captivated by raw nature, crystals, minerals, rock formations. I wanted to create work that felt like a piece of the earth itself, reimagined into something intentional and refined, but still retaining its grit and unpredictability.
Over time I developed my own processes through relentless experimentation, studying how texture, color, resin, curing times, layering and light could all interact. That exploration grew into what I now call Crystal Artistry, a space between traditional art, sculpture and natural formation where earth’s raw materials meet human intention.
